The goal We have been happily endowed by nature with a cross coordination. This means that the left arm to move with the right leg and the right arm with the left leg together. The aim is to perfect these cross coordination as possible, so that the arms support the running style and do not interfere. Be better In our opinion the arms are fundamentally neglected, although they are a central element of our running movement! We assume that we can convince you with this small task as well;): Run one kilometer in your next (easy) running session and move the arms very much laterally. You will find that your abdominal muscles will get sour. This is because your torso has to slow down the rotation you cause with your arms. You are (hopefully) not rotating your arms that extreme when you run, but also small side rotation energy loss might add up loosing seconds or even minutes. So we try to use our arms as efficiently as possible, to run faster. Focus of the training sessionLearn your arms to use as a positive momentum rather than weights that put you into a lateral rotation.In the case of intensive stresses, we tend to put the shoulders on - but this tightens the breathing muscles. Relax your shoulders!Understand how important the arms are for an economic run!Content and Methodology The training session consists of two sections. A cardio & technique part and a section with resistance training. In cardio and technique part we sharpen your sense of proper running technique. We also boost your cardiovascular system. In the section „strength" we strengthen your running-specific muscles. Only if you have the necessary supporting muscles, you are able to bring your technique on the street when racing! In contrast exercises you do the movement as you actually not supposed to do. In our opinion, you can correct your mistakes if you experience what feels wrong. This way you will be more motivated to work on proper technique.
