The goal You have created the base to "fly" and run very efficiently. The goal is to master stork kicks. Doing stork kicks you "kick" the swing leg forward, with the heel as far up as possible. If your supporting leg is extended, technically you have dine everything it takes to run really fast! Be better The Stork kicks are the pinnacle of technical exercises ONESTEPFASTER! Your heel is close to the back of your thigh muscles, so the thihs can recover when your leg is swinging (kicks). The momentum of the kick helps you again extra distance and get even more efficient. You land rather on the forward or midfoot and your whole energy goes forward! Let's get started! Focus of the training sessionLearn to touch ground with your swinging leg right next to the foot of your supporting leg. Use your forward momentum and stop breaking!When you supporting leg is extended danger is big that you fall "back".Do not kick forward like a footballer, otherwise the energy goes upwards and not forward! Keep the heel close to the thigh back.Content and Methodology The training session consists of two sections. A cardio & technique part and a section with resistance training. In cardio and technique part we sharpen your sense of proper running technique. We also boost your cardiovascular system. In the section „strength" we strengthen your running-specific muscles. Only if you have the necessary supporting muscles, you are able to bring your technique on the street when racing! In contrast exercises you do the movement as you actually not supposed to do. In our opinion, you can correct your mistakes if you experience what feels wrong. This way you will be more motivated to work on proper technique.
